President Muhammadu Buhari will attend the inauguration of the Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, for a second five-year time period in workplace, the Presidency has stated.
The Particular Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed this in an announcement on Saturday.
Though the occasion is scheduled to carry on Monday in Addis Ababa, the President will depart Abuja for the Ethiopian capital on Sunday.
Based on Adesina, the Nigerian chief is scheduled to ship a goodwill message on the inauguration ceremony, after which he’ll attend a State Banquet in honour of visiting Heads of State and Authorities.
“President Buhari will likely be accompanied by the Minister of International Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, and the Director-Common of the Nationwide Intelligence Company (NIA), Ambassador Ahmed Rufai Abubakar.
“He’s anticipated again in Abuja on Tuesday,” the President’s spokesman stated within the assertion.
