The Governor Yahaya Bello to President Yahaya Bello (GYB2PYB) youth support group, has continued to woo more Nigerians into the All Progressive Congress (APC) fold inline with the charge given to the group by the Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
The group received the charge from Bello to focus on expanding the membership base of the APC in response to a 14-day ultimatum it issued to the governor to declare interest to contest the 2023 Presidential election.
Speaking to some youth opinion leaders in his office in Abuja on Monday, the Director General of GYB2PYB group, Comrade Oladele John Nihi, said the body has put mechanism in place to make sure there is massive turnout for the ongoing APC membership registration and revalidation. Adding that all things being equal, it should make the party membership three times larger than it was.
Nihi said his office is opened to progressive young people who are ready to contribute positively to the growth of the party as that is the current task focused on by governor Bello and has become a prerequisite for going back to the discussion table with governor on 2023 presidential race.
He enjoined young people across the nation who are yet to key into the vision of the group, to do so in order to become useful youths in ushering in a youthful government.
